Even the Biggest Fool Can Work from Home and Make Money Online
It may seem hard to believe that a complete fool can make money online while working from home, but I can assure you my story is without question a case in point. I have been toiling away at internet marketing for about 4 years now, and then only seriously for the last 3 plus years. I have written my own internet marketing success story little by little and now that I can take a step back and look at my efforts from a broader perspective I can see what a fool I have been.
Theory of Internet Marketing: Build It and Walk Away
One of the beauties of internet marketing is that many (most) times you can do your research, find your keywords, build a site (if it gets that far), set up your monetization, and walk away. The problem with doing that is sometimes you screw up (quite royally) in one place, and replicate that error a thousand times over before you walk away.
All I can say is when you make a mistake and replicate it dozens of times, LIFE*IS*MISERABLE when you discover the error.
On the other hand, if the campaign is/has been still able to make money online for some time despite the collosal screw up, then you can imagine you probably have a really winner of a market and campaign on your hands if you can fix the screw ups or otherwise mitigate the damage. Today was just such a case for me.

Building a $1000/Month Internet Marketing Campaign on Screw Ups and Bad Links
Yeah, you read that right: I discovered this morning that I had built a campaign that was making between $500 and $1000 per month online only to discover that I had created pages with close to 100 bad / broken links on them. I wonder how badly *THAT* affected my Google PageRank? YIKES!
The good news (such that broken links news can be considered “good”) is that despite MANY MANY bad links on my site(s), the stupid campaign was still a good money maker! How in the heck do you figure that can be possible with so much PageRank decay / penalty from bad outbound links? I counted myself lucky and began the process of making lemonade out of lemons, fixing one link at a time. I painstakingly checked page… after page… after page… you get the idea. Imagine a long day in front of the computer screen looking at stuff you had written months and months ago finding one horror after another. It wasn’t just a case of one link being bad (and replicated), it was SEVERAL bad links… replicated.
One would think with THAT MANY bad links on THAT MANY pages that there is no possible way to get traffic and convert it into revenue yet for *MONTHS* that is *EXACTLY* what has been happening. The point should definitely not be lost on anyone reading this: You CAN work from home AND make money online even if you are a total novice and make an astounding pile of screwups.
In fact, I dare say the more screw ups you make… the better your chance to make money online and continue to work from home.
That *IS* the goal… isn’t it?
