Seems everyone these days wants to know how to make money without money. That is the situation so many young (and not so young) people find themselves in today. I don’t envy you if that is your state in life right now. Maybe you don’t have a job, or you just had some medical bills hit, or maybe you’re just starting out and no one will give you a chance. I’ve been around the block a few times and have made a bunch of money a whole lot of different ways. Maybe one of these will appeal to you.
How to Make Money without Money: Seriously, I Mean I’ve Got ZILCH!
This is a tough circumstance to be in, but it could be worse right? You could have a mountain of debt on top of you as well, right (we’ll get to that situation another day)? If you’re going to get in the game at all, you have to have SOMETHING to offer others in order to get some money. If you don’t have something to sell (old jewelry? comic book/baseball card collection?) or don’t have some sort of service to offer (lawn mowing? baby-sitting?) you need to develop SOME skill or asset to convert into money. I mean THINK people. What have you DONE in the past that others have found valuable? What do you OWN that other people admire? Write down a list of all these things that you own or have done and make a guess about how much those things are worth.
OK I Have Some Assets or Services I Can Offer
This is a much better situation to be in. I would have hoped you would have been able to come up with a list of things to sell or services to do. Now that you have a list and a guess at prices (did you check ebay or craigslist for similar items???), what do you do next? Do you think it might be a good idea to TELL people you have things to sell or services to offer? Did you know the more people who know about what you have to sell the better price you are likely to get? Most people now look online several times before buying, and when they do buy a larger portion of the time they are buying from an online source. Are you able to make deals online?
